I've been super busy the last few weeks working on getting my new business of the ground. I'll be working with an old friend and one time business partner, Ben Wilding.

We worked together very successfully on Huitalk and we firmly believe the time is right to launch our business. We have very complimentary skills, whilst I've spent the last 3.5 years building up my Drupal skills, Ben has been gaining experience running a medium sized business and studying finance and management course.

The second Drupal meet up went swimmingly and there was a good turn out of around 40 people over the course of the night. Again, we had a good mix of Drupal developers, people with personal projects and the Drupal curious. The next meetup is scheduled for end of November.

I've been thinking for a while that it would be good to have some kind of meetup for London based Drupal developers. I was browsing the London group and found people inquiring about a meetup. Taking the OSS approach I thought I would have a good scratch at my own itch and so I organised the London Drupal Meetup.

So far the response has been terrific, we've hit our initial limit of 40 people! The format is going to be non-existent, just beer and chat. Hopefully people will circulate freely and won't be stuck with the same people all night.
